Police investigating SE Columbus robberies' connection to Golsby

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police are now investigating whether a series of robberies and assaults on Columbus's southeast side are connected to a murder suspect.

Brian Golsby was arrested last weekend for the death of OSU student Reagan Tokes. Police are now using the same GPS information that put him at the location where Tokes was found to see if he is connected to other robberies in German Village and near nationwide Children's Hospital.

Tokes went missing Wednesday night, after she left work at a bar in the Short North. Her body was found Thursday at Scioto Grove Metro Park in Grove City.

Investigators say DNA from a cigarette butt left in Tokes's car led them to Golsby, who was released in November after serving six years in prison on a previous rape conviction.
