Football Buckeyes Hear From Ray Rice

On February 15, 2014 the life of NFL star running back Ray Rice changed forever. That's the night Rice struck his then fiancee and now his wife Janay Rice. When the video of the incident became public, Rice, a productive running back for six years with the Baltimore Ravens, was finished.

Rice sought counseling, his wife stood by him, he did apologetic interviews, but none of it mattered. The video was too horrific for any NFL team to take a chance on an aging running back.

Fast forward to Wednesday at Ohio State. Rice, who played college football at Rutgers under current Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano, was invited to campus to speak to the Football Buckeyes as part of Urban Meyer's on going "Real Life Wednesday's" series. Rice spoke about decision making--and the poor decisions and actions he demonstrated that night that ended his career.

Urban Meyer and the Ohio State football Twitter accounts posted a segment of Rice's speech on social media. You can check it out here.
