Columbus police officer, another person shot

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --A Columbus police officer is expected to be all right after he was shot while executing a warrant last night in West Columbus.

The officer, whose name hasn't been released yet, is reported to be in stable condition. 

A man inside the home who was also shot was treated at the hospital and released.

Sean Toney, the alleged shooter, is in custody. Toney did receive some injuries as officers tried to take him into custody.

Police had gone to the home on South Burgess Avenue to execute a search warrant for drugs.  Police say drugs and a handgun were found inside the home.
