Back To Work

After a week off for spring break, the Football Buckeyes resume spring practice Tuesday morning. Ohio State has 13 more practices left, capped off by the Spring Game on April 15. There are a lot of eyes, this spring, on the newest Buckeyes--the group of 10 prospects who graduated early and are going through spring practice for the first time. Among them is quarterback Tate Martell, who enjoyed a week at his home in Las Vegas and made note of the wonderful Columbus weather upon his return.

In addition to spring practice for the current Buckeyes, Thursday is a big day for the NFL draft eligible Ohio State products. Following the morning practice, Ohio State will have NFL scouts and GM's in town for "Pro Day" where the Buckeyes, hoping to be picked in the draft beginning April 27, workout for their potential new employers. The top Buckeye prospects have already been through this at the NFL combine, but guys like Dontre Wilson, who was not invited to Indianapolis, are hoping to impress so they can be picked during the seven rounds of the draft.
