OSU Lands Commitment From Top Defensive Tackle

Urban Meyer's recruiting for the 2018 Ohio State class was already off to a great start and it got even better Sunday night.

Taron Vincent--the top rated 2018 defensive tackle in the nation--announced on Twitter that he was committing to Ohio State.

Vincent is listed as 6'2, 285. He's from the Baltimore area but last year transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He comes from a football family. His dad is Troy Vincent, a former college star at Wisconsin, who played 15 years as a defensive back in the NFL. Troy Vincent is now Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the NFL.

Taron Vincent joins a growing, talented class of early 2018 commitments for the Buckeyes that include dual-threat quarterback Emory Jones, safety Jaiden Woodbey and and running backs Brian Snead and Jaelen Gill.
