North Carolina's college basketball national championship brought out some raw emotions Monday night--for both the winners and the losers. The Tar Heels won the championship, 71-65 over Gonzaga--a year after suffering a painful title game loss to Villanova, on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.
Two videos, posted on social media showed why we love sports---that thin like between jubilation and despair. Monday, it was North Carolina celebrating and Gonzaga feeling the pain of defeat. The Zags star, Nigel Williams-Goss, had tears streaming down his face as he talked with ESPN's Andy Katz about the close loss. Meanwhile--cameras caught the celebration in the Carolina locker room as coach Roy Williams entered. Check them out below.
