Facebook Killer Steve Stephens has been spotted dead in his car after a "brief pursuit" with police.
The search for the man who committed a murder while broadcasting it on Facebook Live has now been expanded nationwide.
Steve Stephens is being charged, according to various reports, with the murder of 75-year-old Robert Godwin Sr. Stephens allegedly shot Godwin on Sunday afternoon while broadcasting live on Facebook. He has not been seen since the murder.
Monday afternoon saw Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson announce a $50,000 reward, with Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams saying that the investigation had now expanded to a “national search.”
Williams admitted that at present, Stephens's whereabouts are unknown: “As far as we know right now, we don't know where he's at. The last location we had him at was the homicide.”
