Buckeyes Land Top Defensive End Prospect

If you believe the recruiting rankings, the Football Buckeyes just added a stud. Brenton Cox, a 6'5, 245 pound defensive end from Stockbridge, Georgia announced on Twitter Tuesday night that he was committing to Ohio State.

According to ESPN, Cox is ranked as the No. 19 prospect overall in the 2018 class and the No. 5 defensive end. He is the eighth player in what is quickly becoming a star-studded class that was ranked No. 3 nationally by ESPN prior to Cox's commitment. All eight of the Buckeyes' commitments have at least 4-star rankings.

The news of Cox's commitment drew some social media reaction from Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

Cox was a big time get for Ohio State, also because he comes from SEC country, and picked the Buckeyes over his home-state school of Georgia. His highlights are impressive. Check them out below.
