Ohio State product Malik Hooker, taken in the first round of the NFL draft, has signed his rookie contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
Hooker, a first team AP All-American, is still recovering after he underwent surgery in after the Buckeye season to repair two injuries--a torn labrum and a hernia. Hooker's contract is reportedly a 4-year deal. Based on the rookie wage scale, it is worth more than $12 million and includes a signing bonus of about $7 million.
