Police: Overnight terror threats on OSU campus unfounded

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Ohio State University campus police issued a public safety notice early Monday, after Columbus Police received threats involving the campus.

The threats talked of shootings on campus and and suggestions that bombs hidden in duffel bags had been placed at--among other areas--a university library.

A bag was found near the 18th Ave. library and it was cleared out as a precaution.

While other campus libraries were shut down, nothing was found and eventually,it was determined it was not a credible threat.
