What A Weekend For Ohio State Sports

Ohio State athletics enjoyed a productive weekend as three different programs advanced to the Final Four of their respective sports.

It started Saturday afternoon, when the men's Lacrosse team beat Duke 16-11 to advance to the national semi-finals for the first time in program history.

The lacrosse Final Four is in Boston this weekend. Ohio State plays Towson in the first semi-final with Maryland meeting Denver in game two.

Just hours after the Buckeye lacrosse team advanced, the OSU men's tennis team made its Final Four with a 4-3 win in its match with TCU.

Ohio State now faces Virginia in the semi-finals Monday morning at 10 a.m.

The Final Four run by Buckeye athletics wasn't done. The women's tennis team, for the first time in program history, advanced as well beating Texas Tech 4-0.

The Buckeye women play Monday afternoon against Stanford as they attempt to advance to the National Championship. Not a bad weekend for Ohio State and Director of Athletics Gene Smith.
