COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Charges are pending against the suspect in a shooting at the Columbus Metropolitan Library's main branch on South Grant Ave.

Police say Joseph Steward opened fire Sunday inside the library on South Grant Avenue during an argument with another man.

The victim, John Thrasher, 47, was treated for a gunshot wound to the ankle.

The library didn't mention the shooting on it's website:

"Main Library will open at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 12 so staff can prepare the building for reopening after Sunday's incident. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you in our 22 other locations that will be open as usual."
