COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Columbus police say a man who was shot early Tuesday and later died at a hospital was the victim of an ambush attack.
He's identified as 35-year old Kenneth Edward Davis, shot in his car as he arrived at a home on Kirkdale Drive, not far from East Broad Street and Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road.
Davis was taken to Mt. Carmel East Hospital just after 2:30 a.m. by a friend.
Columbus homicide detectives are in the neighborhood, looking for possible witnesses and more clues.
