COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) – The Franklin County DUI Task Force says it will have a sobriety checkpoint set up from 8 p.m. Friday until midnight along Frank Road near Gantz Road.

The Task Force urges those who’ll be drinking alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements.

Have you ever questioned why police publicize a checkpoint?  If they don’t,  stopping you might be considered a detention without reasonable suspicion, and that violates your Fourth Amendment rights.
