WESTERVILLE, Ohio (WTVN) -- Ohio Governor John Kasich isn't happy with President Trump's claims that "both sides" are to blame for the violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Kasich tells NBC's "Today" show the president needs to condemn these kinds of hate groups.
He adds that there is no moral equivalency between neo-Nazis and the KKK and anybody else.
Kasich says Trump needs to correct what he said, "understand what the American people want and bring us together."
One person was killed when a car plowed into a group of counter-protesters during the rally over the weekend.
