COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) has two events coming up giving area residents a chance to safely dispose of unwanted materials.
The first happens in Westerville this Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westerville Service Department on Park Meadow Road.
Three weeks later, on September 30, SWACO will be at the Grove City Service Department on Ventura Blvd, again, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
People can bring their old lawn chemicals, paint strippers, insecticides and more for recycling and/or environmentally safe disposal.
For a complete list of accepted materials, check SWACO's website.
By the way, you'll be charged $1 for every container of latex/water based paint you want to get rid of.
