HILLIARD, Ohio (WTVN) -- There was no way 17-year old Blake Mounts would be able to go to his Hilliard high school's homecoming.
He's in the hospital after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia earlier this month.
So last weekend, his sister and Kaitlynn O'Conner--his girlfriend--brought the dance to him.
Blake's friends went to the hospital dressed up in fancy outfits and decorated his room.
It was Blake's 15-year old sister Taylor who came up with idea.
She told Buzzfeed News that she "felt awful" when she heard her brother couldn't leave the hospital for his actual homecoming.
Blake said that it was "nice" to return to a sense of normalcy.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with Blake's medical expenses.
