COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- A Licking County police chief who was killed in the line of duty could soon have a highway named in his memory.
Legislation will be introduced Wednesday in the Ohio Senate to name part of U.S. Route 40 in Kirkersville for Chief Steven Eric DiSario.
The 36-year-old husband and father had only been the village's police chief for a month when he was gunned down in May at a nursing home by a shooter who already killed two people.
