Need to get rid of expired, unneeded drugs?

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Saturday is Drug Take-Back Day, a day for people to get rid of their expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs.

The drugs will be accepted at 17 locations around Franklin County between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Click here to view the list.

The drugs will be disposed of without harming the environment and help reduce the opiate abuse problem in Franklin County.

Drug Take-Back Day is completely anonymous and no questions will be asked and no identification is needed.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says it collected more than 3900 pounds of medications dropped off at Kroger stores last year.
