Teen charged with murder considered armed, dangerous

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Police in Columbus have filed delinquency murder charges against the suspect in a shooting earlier this week on the Southwest side.

They're still looking for 18-year old Michael Lee Meredith, who they believe to be armed and dangerous.

Police say Meredith shot and killed 24-year old Jared M. Bentley after an argument in the area of Bay Club Circle.

Bentley, police say, tried to get away after he was shot, but collapsed after going just a few hundred years.

Anyone with information on where Meredith might be is asked to call the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at (614) 645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-TIPS.
