HILLIARD, Ohio (WTVN) -- Not only will you soon be prohibited from smoking inside public buildings in Hilliard. You won't be allowed to light up in city parks, either.
The ban approved Monday night by Hilliard City Council members also outlaws smoking outside city-owned buildings.
The ordinance includes not only tobacco and other products containing nicotine, but electronic cigarettes as well.
Repeat violators could be fined as much as $250.
