COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Columbus City School Board of Education has named the three finalists to serve as district Superintendent.
There were 19 candidates vying to replace Dr. Dan Good, who retired from the post in December.
The final three include current Interim Superintendent John Stanford, former Deputy Superintendent Keith Bell, and current Akron City Schools Superintendent David James.
Bell is also a former Superintendent in the Euclid City School district.
The board indicates interviews with the finalists could begin next week.
The Columbus City School district is the largest in the state of Ohio.
