COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)-- Ohio's governor is calling on Congress to do something about gun violence in the wake of last week's deadly school shooting in Florida.
On CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, Kasich urged Congress to "wake up" and pass legislation for common sense gun laws.
The Westerville Republican said people should not be able to buy a gun without going through a background check.
