Jury soon to get case of man accused of murdering OSU student

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Jury deliberations are expected to begin Tuesday in the Brian Golsby murder trial.

Golsby is accused of kidnapping, raping and killing Ohio State student Reagan Tokes last year.

On Monday, prosecutors called their final witnesses, including Golsby's close friend, Brittney Stepp.

Stepp testified that during her last jailhouse visit with Golsby, he confessed to the crimes.

Golsby's attorneys rested their case without any testimony, setting the stage for closing arguments, then deliberations.

If a verdict is not reached, the jury will be sequestered until a decision is made.

He could face the death penalty if convicted.
