COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Pending final approval Friday from Ohio State University's Board of Trustees, it looks like football coach Urban Meyer will be sticking around.
On Thursday, a board committee approved Meyer's contract extension, which sets his 2018 salary at $7.6-million and includes a $1.2-million raise.
The deal keeps Meyer at OSU through 2022 and raises his salary above Michigan's Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh is set to make $7.5-million in 2018.
Alabama's Nick Saban and Clemson's Dabo Swinney are the only two in the country to make more than Meyer.
