COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Columbus police have now released the name of the man who was stabbed to death Thursday morning, allegedly by his girlfriend.
Vincente Mills, 41, was found unresponsive when officers arrived at Shanara Culbreath's northeast-side apartment on Cameron Ellis Drive.
Despite attempts to revive him, Mills died at the scene about an hour later.
An initial search of the area for suspects turned up nothing, but Thursday afternoon, Culbreath, 28, returned home and was taken into custody.
It's Columbus's 24th homicide of 2018.
