(UNDATED) - Former First Lady Barbara Bush, who died Tuesday night, had close ties to Ohio.
Her father, Marvin Pierce, was a standout athlete in football, basketball, tennis and baseball at Miami University. That's where he met Pauline Robinson, Barbara's mother.
The two would later tie the knot in Union County.
And, Barbara Bush's grandfather was Ohio Supreme Court Justice James Edgar Robinson.
Barbara Bush was 92.
