COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- A Columbus man who was kicked in the head by a police officer is getting paid for his trouble.
Monday night, Columbus City Council approved a $30,000 settlement with 27-year old DeMarko Anderson.
When Columbus Police Officer Zach Rosen kicked Anderson during an arrest last year, Rosen was fired. Earlier this year, he was reinstated by an arbitrator.
In March, Anderson was charged with spitting on a Columbus police officer.
