Program kicks off, aimed at helping hungry central Ohio kids

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- "Go Lunch!", the summer food program for children in Franklin County, kicks off Monday offering kids free, nutritious meals and snacks at 220 sites across the county.

"Go Lunch" spokesperson Amanda Wampler says the program gets food to a lot of kids who lose out on breakfast and lunch when the school year ends.

In addition to the food, recreational programs, games and activities will be available at a number of Columbus-area elementary schools.

You can find a list of the schools and more information on the program at here.
