Judge puts Columbus gun law on hold

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- City officials in Columbus won't be able to enforce new gun laws until next month at the earliest.

A Franklin County judge issued a restraining order Monday, blocking the city's ban on bump stocks.

Two gun-rights groups sued the city to dismiss the ordinance, calling it unconstitutional.

Arguments for and against the lawsuit will be heard July 9th.
