(UNDATED) -- Ritz Crackers and others are the subject of a voluntary recall because some of them could be contaminated by Salmonella.
Mondelēz Global LLC, which makes Ritz, believes the culprit may be the whey powder used in its Ritz products, like Ritz Cracker Sandwiches, Ritz Bits and mixed cookie and cracker variety packs.
The company says the recall is a precaution and there have been no complaints of illness so far.
