Up until Friday, former Ohio State receivers coach Zach Smith had been silent. He changed that with a conversation on "The Drive" with Stan Jackson and me. Smith, who was fired two weeks ago, is accused of domestic violence against his ex-wife Courtney Smith. Buckeye coach Urban Meyer is currently on administrative leave as the university investigates whether he knew of domestic violence incidents involving Zach and Courtney Smith in 2015 and did not report them. Meyer, in a letter posted Friday, said he did report the incidents but Zach Smith remained employed. Smith, in our interview, says he did not abuse Courtney and that Ohio State, including Director of Athletics Gene Smith, were aware of the accusations against him.
