Meyer suspension ends; coach apologizes again

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Urban Meyer's suspension from the sidelines of the Ohio State Buckeyes' football games is now over.

In an interview with ESPN's Tom Rinaldi, Meyer apologized for the mistakes he made in handling former assistant coach Zach Smith and domestic abuse allegations.

Meyer said he was sorry for the way he handled the situation, given the information he had at the time and Smith, he said, should have been fired earlier.
