Only In Cleveland

Browns fans dealt with another "only in Cleveland" moment Sunday. Now ex-Browns place kicker Zane Gonzalez missed two field goals and two extra points in a heart breaking 21-18 loss to New Orleans. Gonzalez was wide left on both extra points, the second of which, with 1:24 left, would have given the Browns a 19-18 lead. Sandwiched between those misses was another wide-left attempt on a 42 yard field goal. After the Saints took the lead in the closing seconds, the  Browns quickly got in range for a potential game-tying kick, but Gonzalez was wide right this time from 52 yards. It was a frustrating finish for Browns fans who have celebrated only one victory under third year head coach Hue Jackson.

Veteran sports reporter Mike Snyder, sports director at WTAM radio up in Cleveland, visited with Stan Jackson and me on "The Drive" Monday to recap the game as well as the Josh Gordon situation. We talked to Mike at 3:30, moments before the Gordon trade to New England became official. We always enjoy talking to Mike and if you missed the conversation, you can check it out here.
