Four String Brewing Co. Abruptly Closes

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--A well-known Columbus craft brewery is shutting down its operations, but has not announced if it is for good or just temporary.  

Columbus Business First reported that employees of Four String Brewing were abruptly told on Wednesday that the company is ceasing operations. 

Four String Brewing had operated a tap room on Sixth Avenue in Grandview and a production brewery in the Hilltop.  

No details from the owners have been released yet as to the reason for the closure or if it is permanent.

Some of the brewery's most popular drinks were "Hilltop", described as a heritage lager, Rectifier Double IPA and Big Star White IPA.
