Coroner: Donna Castleberry Shot Three times

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--The Franklin County Coroner's Office is releasing an autopsy report detailing what killed 23-year Donna Castleberry during a prostitution sting.

Undercover vice officer Andrew Mitchell was later relieved of duty for shooting Castleberry in the back of his car on August 23rd during the incident where he received a stab wound in the hand.

According to yesterday's findings; Castleberry was shot in the chest, abdomen, and right leg, with the wound to the chest being fatal.

The Coroner said they were listing her death as a homicide but noted she was also found to have had cocaine and fentanyl in her system.

Columbus Police Chief Kim Jacobs later put the entire Vice Unit on "pause" as they investigate inappropriate activity within the department, following that shooting, and the arrest of Stormy Daniels at a Columbus strip club back in July.
