Local Protest Calls for Protection for Mueller Investigation

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--President Donald Trump's decision to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions is being met with protests across the country.

Hundreds of protestors marched Thursday from Bicentennial Park to the offices of Senator Rob Portman voicing their concern that the firing will lead to the end of the Mueller Investigation into Russian Election Interference.

Sessions had recused himself from overseeing the probe into Russian meddling because he had worked on the Trump campaign.

To date, the Mueller Investigation has indicted 32 people for interfering in the 2016 election, including four former Trump campaign advisors.
