COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--He coaches the Buckeyes on the basketball court, but that didn't stop him from commenting on the football team.
Chris Holtmann's Buckeyes beat Minnesota 79-59 Sunday to open up the Big Ten Conference portion of their 2018-19 season.
Holtmann went through his normal post-game press conference to talk about his team and their performance, but before he left, he commented on several things he says he does not understand.
"I don't understand why airlines overbook their flights when they knew how many seats they have. I don't understand how Rocky III never got an academy award nomination. It's a heck of a movie. It's a fine film. And I can't for the life of me understand how we are Number-6 in the final College Football Playoff ranking. I just don't get it."
Holtmann was hired by the university as head Men's Basketball Coach in June 2017.
