Mike Weber to leave for the NFL After the Rose Bowl

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Ohio State running back Mike Weber announced he will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft after the Rose Bowl game.  

Weber posted to Twitter page Sunday saying he would indeed play in the Buckeye's bowl game on New Year's Day.  

In 2016 Weber was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and over three seasons at Ohio State has rushed for over 25-hundred-yards and scored 24-touchdowns.  

According to early NFL draft analysis, Weber is considered one of the top running backs and is projected to be drafted in the first three rounds.
