POWELL, Ohio (24-7 News)--The future of Liberty Township emergency management services is still undecided despite another standing room only meeting held Monday with trustees.
For the second time in a row, residents packed the meeting space to voice their opposition or support to a new measure which would disband township services and merge them with Delaware County.
If the proposal was adopted it would mean the elimination of around 30 jobs in the Liberty Township Fire Department.
Some township trustees said they would like to see the measure go before the voters and will continue the debate at their next meeting scheduled for the first week of January.
