COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Police are investigating a shooting in west Columbus which has become the very first homicide of 2019.
According to reports, officers responded to a call about a shooting early Tuesday morning at a home on Leigh Run Court.
A man identified as Ahmed Nur Osman was found at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to Doctors Hospital where he later died.
Officials did not release information on a motive or a suspect but say it is the first homicide in Columbus this year.
