Ohio State Wins Rose Bowl, Urban Meyer Retires as Head Coach

PASADENA, California (24-7 News)--The Ohio State Buckeyes survived a furious fourth-quarter rally from the Washington Huskies to win the Rose Bowl 28-23 in Urban Meyer's last game as head coach.

The Buckeyes dominated the first half behind quarterback Dwayne Haskins who threw for three touchdowns and 251-yards.

The Huskies rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 20 points but the clock and the Buckeyes lead were too much to overcome.

The game marked the end of the Urban Meyer era at Ohio State as the coach finishes with an 83-9 record at OSU and 187-32 for his career.
