Bank Robbery Suspect Skips two Court Appearances

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--A man accused of robbing four Columbus area banks failed to show up for two court-ordered arraignments.

Documents show 63-year old Anthony Collier missed his appearances on Friday and Saturday for being disruptive.  Collier is accused of robbing four central Ohio banks in just four days beginning on New Year's Eve.

In each case, Collier is accused of handing the teller a note, indicating he had a gun, and demanding money. He left the scenes with an undisclosed amount.

One bank in Bexley was hit that way, with two banks on the south side and a bank on Morse Road also hit in a four-day span.

Officials will try again as Collier is now scheduled to appear in court again Monday.
