Ohio State Whistleblower Jailed for Missing Court Appearance

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--A former Ohio State University wrestler accusing the university and Congressman Jim Jordan of ignoring sexual abuse by a former doctor is in jail.

Mike DiSabato was jailed for missing a court date last week in a case in which he's accused of harassing a relative of Jordan's.  His lawyer says they didn't know he was supposed to be in court that day.

DiSabato claims the late Ohio State team doctor Richard Strauss molested him and other wrestlers in the 1990s.

Jordan was an assistant wrestling coach at the university at the time and claims he knew nothing about the alleged abuse.  DiSabato and other victims say that's hard to believe.
