POWELL, Ohio (24-7 News)--Liberty Township Trustees are parting ways with the medical director the township has used for the past 28-years.
At a meeting Tuesday night, trustees voted 2-1 to appoint Delaware County medical director Dr. Ashish Pancal to replace Dr. Warren Yamarick.
According to fiscal records, Dr. Yamarick was being paid a salary of six-thousand dollars a year and replacing him with Dr. Pancal will cost taxpayers an additional 28-thousand dollars.
Another matter concerning merging township emergency services with Delaware County was not settled at last night's meeting.
