COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--The heroic rescue of a dog from an icy pond on Columbus' Westside was featured over the weekend on an episode of the reality show Live PD.
The episode aired for the first time on the A&E Network on Saturday, and featured deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff's dive team removing the dog from the frozen waters of a shallow pond near Amity Road in Galloway.
The dog, named Jake, was taken to MedVet in Hilliard where it was treated and released to its family.
