MCARTHUR, Ohio (WTVN)--Authorities are releasing the names of three people killed in a medical helicopter crash in Vinton County.

The crash happened Tuesday about 75-miles southeast of Columbus near the community of Zaleski. The chopper was on the way from Mt. Carmel Grove City to a hospital on Pomeroy to pick up a patient.

Officials lost contact with the chopper, and the State Highway Patrol discovered the crash.
