Ginther Touts Investments, Neighborhoods in State of the City Address

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther is looking towards major financial investments for the coming year as laid out in his annual state of the city address.

In the speech delivered Thursday at East High School, Ginther said the city plans to dedicate millions in funding for affordable housing and bringing internet access to underserved neighborhoods.

Ginther highlighted the One Linden plan which aims to redevelop the area and pointed to a similar future proposal for the Hilltop.

The mayor said to fund his projects he will be putting a one-billion dollar bond package before voters as part of the May primary.
