LA GRANGE, Kentucky (24-7 News)--The Kentucky State Police are confirming that a woman abducted in Ohio has been killed during a shootout with the man who kidnapped her.
Officials said that Skylar Williams was killed on Monday afternoon along with Ty'rell Pounds who is suspected of taking her by force from the Mansfield campus of the Ohio State University.
Police say they believe Pounds shot Williams before being shot by an officer.
Williams was hit by at least one bullet and was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Pounds and Williams have a child together, and a lengthy facebook post by Pounds, found after the incident, seemed to have eluded to their eventual deaths.
