Vaccination Clinic for Patrons of East Side Restaurant

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Public-health investigators are confirming a single case of hepatitis A in the Columbus area and are warning customers to get vaccinated as a precaution.

Officials say a worker at Eddy's Chicken & Waffles on East Livingston Avenue has tested positive for the disease and that anyone who visited the restaurant between February 1st and February 11th should get a hepatitis A vaccine as soon as possible.

A free public vaccination clinic for adults who visited the restaurant will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday (February 18th) at Columbus Public Health on Parsons Avenue.
